All of our butterflies had finally emerged as of last night. The only one we saw was, sadly, the one from the night before that had seemed stuck. It was definitely stuck, it had been trying to get out for a day so in the end I helped it down from the wall of the enclosure and took the last of the chrysalis off its wings. The inside of the chrysalis was black, both wings were crumpled and the butterfly was less hairy and a little odd looking compared to the others, so we assumed that either a parasite got in somewhere or it was just unlucky.
The other 4 butterflies are fine, they are flapping about and looking a little restless and enjoying the orange we put in with them.
